Valentine Red Velvet Cheese Cake Pops
INGREDIENTS
- 1 box red velvet cake mix (plus ingredients called for on cake mix oil, eggs and water)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 16 oz white chocolate
- 22-24 lollipop or wooden craft stick
- Heart shaped sprinkles, optional
- Red sprinkles, optional
INSTRUCTIONS
- Bake the cake according to directions on the package
- Let it cool completely then crumble the cake in a bowl (just use your hands to completely crumble the cake)
- Add softened cream cheese and knead gently with your fingers until is incorporated
- Roll about 1 heaping tablespoon of the mixture into balls
- Press one lollipop stick into each cheesecake ball and place on a baking sheet lined with a parchment paper
- Set in the fridge to chill
- Remove cheesecake pops form the fridge
- Melt white chocolate and dip cheesecake pops into melted chocolate and lightly tap on the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate
- Sprinkle each pops with red sprinkles and heart shaped sprinkles
- Store in the fridge
